Hi BPS members

Meeting Report

On Tuesday night we experienced yet another successful zoom meeting which was very well presented by Julian who seemed to be very nice and easy to talk to. His presentation covered his journey to Patagonia whilst being employed by a tour operator. It certainly looked to be a great place to visit for photographers and although I enjoyed it very much I would like to have been given more information on how he took his photos and edited them. He did, however, give us the chance to ask questions. After witnessing his workflow I think it will change the way I approach holiday photography in future. It was good to share our meeting with Romsey Club members. Martin thanked them and suggested that we might look into arranging a competition against them in the future.

WCPF Kingswood Salver Competition Group Report

We plan another shoot on Saturday morning to hopefully complete our entry. We have made progress but most members feel that we can do better so we have planned a dedicated shoot for all members to have another chance to get that special shot. We have all learned just how difficult flash photography is. Tom and Jim are acting as models once again and Neil, Martin B, Martyn E and myself will be setting up equipment at 8.30. Can all group members taking part in this competition be there at 9.15 please.

Next Week’s Meeting – October 13th

We will be showing WCPF videos, made especially for clubs’ use which covers the annual print presentation.
