Newsletter 13th January 2020

Hi BPS members

Sorry, rather late and brief this week. Last Tuesday we held our annual panel competition, Prints and digital. We received a reasonable entry which gave us all plenty to discuss. Members voted on their personal favourite and Martin came out as the winner in the print with his panel of five showing the progress of bell replacement at St Mary’s church, well done Martin. Jane Billing took the digital competition top spot with her panel of three, Jane’s entry was the overwhelming favourite and a clear winner, see FB group to see winning images. Lengthy discussions took place and during that time we decided to have a go at the WCPF Kingswood Salver competition. I volunteered to be the organiser and once again details are available on our FB group events page. Volunteers needed Please

On Tuesday we have a real treat in store when Ben Maliphant presents his Time-lapse photography lecture. This is an open meeting so please ask your friends to come along and join us £5 on the door includes refreshments, £4 if your friend happens to be a member of another local camera club
