Weekly Newsletter 27th March

Hi BPS members

Western Counties Travelling Prints Critique meeting report

The members present split into four groups each of which carried out an analysis and critique of the prints as a team, discussing each print in detail. I have to say that there were some excellent prints on display and also many that caused us to wonder how they achieved success at the in this competition. A representative from each team explained in detail their thoughts on each print. Some great points of view were aired from which all members no doubt gained something. It was once again a shame that so few members were there to experience what was agreed to be a very informative evening’s debate.

Martin is currently gathering ideas and venues for us to visit during our summer break. Please speak to or send him a message if you have any suggestions.

My sincere apologies to Jane Billing for not crediting her with 4th place in the digital competition. Jane’s entry was the “Railway Carriage”.

Next meeting April 2nd

Next week I will be your entertainment and present to you all “Me & My Photography’. Please feel free to invite your friends, family, or work colleagues to join us.
