Weekly Newsletter 1st January

Hi BPS members

Well, Christmas is done and dusted and we move into a new year. Have you made any new year resolutions? I seldom do because I continue to try and move forward on a continuous basis, always doing my best to improve my skill levels in photography as I’m sure you all do and you demonstrate this by being a member of BPS. At the meeting before Christmas we held a special meeting to try to meet the needs members require, I really enjoyed this and encourage you all to speak up and let your committee know what you want us to cover in future meetings, we have a busy itinerary for the second half of our winter season but I’m sure Martin will find a way to fit your requirements in. Remember! that I am here to help and happy to share what little knowledge I have, if I can’t help, I know a man that can.

I plan to try and bring in a few more new members to increase our numbers which will help build funds to allow us to increase our club equipment, wouldn’t it be great if we owned a proper professional studio lighting set up. If you have a friend, workmate or family member who you think might fit in please tell them about us, remember potential new members get a couple of weeks free for them to assess what we offer as a club. We also have some professional lectures where members of the public can join us for £4 on the door.
