Next Week

Tuesday 30th January Darren Hillman will share his knowledge on the use and capabilities of Adobe Lightroom. This should be both informative and interactive, enabling many of us to finally get up to speed and more capable in the use of this software.

Future Events

Tuesday 6th February is a portrait night where we will have some models and lighting setup for you to experiment in this field of photography. Additionally, Keith Robbins is intending to return so that we can also practice with the flash heads and trigger technology discussed in his lecture a few weeks ago.

Tuesday 13th February we host our annual competition against Taunton Camera Club, this is always a serious challenge for us and I’m led to believe we will be against some very high quality images. Win or lose the evening will be full of great photography not to be missed.

WCPF events

The regional WCPF Members Exhibition is now open for entry, if you are interested in entering, then talk with our WCPF representative Brian Sweeting on his return.

Also, this year as a club we have entered the WCPF DPIC competition against 56 other photographic groups judged at The Corn Exchange, Exeter on Sunday 18th February. This is a ticketed event at £7 each, and as seats appeared to be going fast I secured four tickets on a first come first served basis if interested. Otherwise further tickets are available on the following link https://www.exetercornexchange.co.uk/whats-on/western-counties-photographic-federation-2018/

And Finally

Welcome to past member Andy White who gave us a return visit last week, good to see you again.
