Hi BPS Members
It was good to see our new members attend our meeting again this week - hang in there and we will do our best to help you to improve your photography skills. I was very impressed with the quality achieved by those members who submitted their images taken on their mobile phones. A couple of prints were excellent. I am looking forward to seeing how they compare to those taken with expensive cameras and lenses in the monthly competition. I have a feeling from what I saw that some of us will be quite shocked.
Next week’s Meeting:
WCPF 2018 competitions. Discussion will be around whether we should enter any of the following competitions: Kingswood Salver, WCPF DPIC, AV, or the Knightshayes Trophy. The WCPF is the area society for the south west of England and we as a club are registered, you as paid up members of Bridgwater Photographic Society, are also members. After the break we a have new competition for all smartphone users (not just the newcomers) to have their images [up to four] critiqued by an in house team, send your images no later than Monday to Martin Barber email@example.com so that we can collate the entries.
See Graham for details. It is acceptable to complete the form electronically if you wish.
Future photo opportunities:
No arrangements have been made yet, however, see details below (see you there!) as I have had to delay our planned holiday due to my wife not being too well.
